3/9/17 Revised Description. An interested buyer brought to my attention after making an offer on this pen that the small drop of paint or glue that was on it may have eaten through the pen. so I did a brave or stupid thing I flecked it off with my fingernail and it had not eaten through the pen. there are 3 new pictures that show where the blob was and you can see a little outline of what is left of it. it just flaked off for me. now I did not continue to clean the little residue that is left because I didn\'t know what to clean it with but I am pretty sure that will come off too. the 3 new pictures with green backgroundsfollow the picture that shows the blob as it was and now it is gone. #23. this pen is lovely itis a wonderful light and dark green pearl swirl. it has not been tested. it has a small drop of paint or something on the barrel near the bottom; I do think it will come off but I do not know for sure. the nib is marked Esterbrook 2788 USA I think it is said that this nib is one of Esterbrook\'s best top of the line. silver trim is in very good condition. I do not see any cracks or dents. thank you for looking and please visit my store for more old pens and desk items.
