Thisunusual doll is from my in-law\'s estate. The doll is made from scrap materialsand the head appears similar to other dried apple head dolls. It is very darkwith red lips The basket contains small baked goods that are probably real andthen coated to preserve.

Thebody is made from 2 or 3 old cone shaped drinking cups glued to a rough pieceof plywood The first and largest cup has .5 l (.5 liters) printed on it, whilethe next cup has Amfora - Uvert and their logo. This was an old Budapest, Hungaryindustrial company that made many products including paper goods, printing,crystal, etc. I believe there is a 3rd smaller cup above this one, but did notwant to dig to deeply.

Thedoll stands apx 14\" high with the bottom dress spread apx 10-11\"diameter. The hands are felt, and all other body items sewn fabrics andstuffing of some sort. It is in very good shape and definitely a collectorspiece only, not a play doll.
