Unique and hard to find!
These phones were used in hazardous work Environments like mines, refineries, or anywhere where hazardous gases may be present. The housing is sealed airtight to contain any sparks.
VERY heavy, about 30 lbs!
All original.
Rotary dial.
Black electrical tape on ear portion of receiver.
Surface scuffs, scratches, dings, some corrosion on metal.
Phone case is made of thick gauge steel, back portion is heavy cast metal.
Four bolts protruding out back for mounting.
Threaded pipe at base.
Portion of the cast metal is cracked and missing, at base where the pipe is... (see detail pictures).
Damage is hardly noticeable when displayed and does not effect function.
Appears complete, no key.
Brass tag on side reads, \"Badger A.A. Plant 77319 U.S. Property\"
Scratched into front is the same serial number \"77319\".
