This is a Fenton Bicentennial Commemorative Plate ... 1776 - 1976!!
The Fenton plate is an authentic handmade glass plate. When formed ... handmade glass takes on its own unique characteristics ... sono two plates are alike.
\"Proclaim Liberty Throughout All The Land\" is at the bottom of the plate and 1776 - 1976 is at the top. The back of the plate has, Official United States Of America Bicentennial Commemorative Project of the General Federation of Women\'s Clubs. It states it was issued January 1, 1976 and is number fourin a series of four commemorative plates.
The plate has signs of dirt on bottom front and markings on the back base (see photos); but, the plate is in great condition otherwise. Box shows it wears from the years (see photos).
The plate measure about 8 1/8 inches in diameter. It is Antique Powder Blue.
