When I purchased this many years ago, the previous owner said it was new. So I believe it was rarely, if ever, used. There are no chips or cracks.The measurements are as follows: Top tier - 6 l/2\" in diameter, Middle Tier - 8 l/2\" in diameter, and Bottom tier - 12 l/2\" in diameter.
