This beautiful rod features a sliding ring reel seat, hence the letter \"R\" after the number. By far the most rods made by Fenwick at this time employed a locking reel seat, but by using the rings, they shaved off a little weight, (½ oz) and allowed the fisherman to move the reel around on the handle. The rod comes complete with its original, triangular case, the ubiquitous green plaid sack, and foul-proof guides. The serial number is #G131582. Everything is perfect: windings, guides, ferrules. This is a no-reserve sale. Perfect for your collection, or to fish with. Will be shipped in a cardboard box with lots of padding, fully insured, and for free.
