Here is a darling flapper porcelain pin cushion doll with legs and perched on a good strong fabric covered round cushion. She will look precious not just in sewing room but any room in your home.
She stands about 5\" tall. She has good face and hat and body and arms.No cracks or nicks in porcelain. Her orangish over skirt is an orange color and has no tears and don\'t know if silk. This has really no stains just age patina and does have some pins in it. The fabric covering the round cushion has good yellow color and is nice and sturdy. The cushion has a slit where the porcelain legs are crossed and have high heels with some missing color on the gold paint shoes. But no nicks or cracks.
Most of these dolls you bought the porcelain pieces (doll body and separate legs piece) and cushion and chose your own color fabric scheme. You can find the pieces in the old catalogs this way. Ladies still needed to feel they had made something instead of just purchasing new whole piece.
So sweet lady who is only leaving home due to that ugly word downsizing and hoped someone else would enjoy her. Soon with computer sewing machines and gadgets all these older ladies will be forgotten and fade away. So nice to preserve a bit of our sewing history.
