I found this under a floorboard while cleaning up the attic. It\'s a Flaroma Coffee can produced by the Grand Union Tea Company. Only the round lid, top, bottom and a strip on the back are metal. The sides appear to be made of cardboard. According to the package, it once held one pound of coffee, but is now empty. It measures about 3 1/8\" deep x 6 5/16\" high x 4 1/2\" wide.I cannot find a date for this item\'s manufacture, but the package indicates that it was made by the Canister Company of Phillipsburg NJ, and patent information (for the coffee or the tin design, I don\'t know) reads: Pat. May 24 \'98 , July 24 \'00, Other Patents Pending.The can has some scuffing at the sides, a shallow crease and some small scratches at the front, some rust on the top and lid, and some scratches at the bottom. The front also has a small cut at the top blue border of the can, about half an inch long and 1/16\" thick. The top is bent slightly inward, as if someone used too much force to pry the lid open. The can is otherwise in good condition ,with colors bright and seemingly unfaded.This item doesn\'t seem to show up on very often. Here\'s your chance to get one!
