Vintage Folger’s Coffee Jar Paper Label Embossed Mountains Golden Gate Brand:

Offered is a vintage Folger’s glass coffee jar. The jar originally held 1 pound of drip grind Golden Gate brand coffee. The jar is embossed with mountains (Mountain Grown), complete with pine trees.
This jar has a design patent from 1941, and the label indicates a copyright date of 1940. The jar also has the following embossed near the base: “Duraglass” and “F-1959.” I do not know if the F-1959 is a date or some other code. The jar is about 6 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at the base. The jar has a screw lid which is 2 ½ inches in diameter.
The jar is in very good condition. The jar is in perfect shape, with no cracks or chips. The label has light rubbing and two small tears. The lid has light rust and the paint is worn off. Please refer to photos to judge condition for yourself.
