W. A. Schaeffer Pen Co, Fort Madison Iowa, Pat. D-78, 795 is marked on the pen. The tip is marked Schaffer 5-30.It\'s in fair condition based on my \"non-expert\" eye. The cap doesn\'t tighten onto the base and you can see slight remnants of scotch tape where someone attempted to make the cap stay on, which I showed in a close-up picture. Also, I made no attempt to clean it up, but believe - if cleaned - the faux tortoise shell would really pop. It is very iridescent, which didn\'t really show up in the pictures.Thanks for looking!
