Large Vintage Circus Clown with HandAccordionFramed Needlework

This listing is for a large, hand-stitched needlework piece featuring the image of a clown with a hand accordion.

The backgroundcolouris a sage green and this picture also has beige, green, yellow, brown, black and red.

Measured on the outside of the frame, this piece measures 26.75 inches (68 cms) by 19.25 inches (49 cms.)

Measurements of the mounted piece itself measuredon the back as mounted and inserted into the frame:25 inches (63.5 cms) by 17.5 inches (44.5 cms.)

On the back, the edges of this picture read:

• 60 by 80
• Made in France
• Collection Seg de Paris

The needlework part of this framed picture is in very good, used condition. The frame shows quite a few scrapes and scratches and could be replaced or refinished. The paper on the back from the custom framer has been removed and is untidy in appearance.

A lovely circus-themed piece. Imagine how many hours it would have taken to hand stitch this item!
