Vintage French Floral Petit-Point Change / Coin Purse or Pouch. Black Satin with embroidered pink rose, peach, orange, yellow, and blue flowers and green leaves and stems tied together in a bouquet with a blue ribbon. Purse has two gold embroidered seams that meet the gold tone frame and floral filigree round clasp. Back of purse has a small pink and peach flower embroidered in the middle. Hand-made in France.
I wish you could feel the smoothness of this satin. I suspect that the purse was never used as the inside ivory-colored satin is absolutely spotless and clean. Outside of purse is also clean and in good condition. Inside \"Hand-Made in France\" ribbon has some fraying on the end. Gold tone purse frame has some wearing of color, but hinges and clasps work perfectly.
Purse is 4 1/2\" at the widest and 3 3/4\" from bottom to top of clasp. Opening of purse is 3\" wide.
