Here is a set of vintage French style compo and wood small picture frames.One frame is slightly larger than the other. It measures 6 3/4 x 8 1/2 in. in total size and the back opening accommodatesa 4 1/2 x 6 1/4 piece of art. the smaller one measures 7 x 8 in. in total size and the back opening fits a 4 1/16 x 5 5/16 in piece of art. I have the old wood backing for these and they have a Amsterdam frame maker\'slabel one each(shown in pictures).The frames are in Fair/good as is vintage condition. Larger frame has some cracks in the compo/gesso on the corners,minor chips off back side,and a small hole painted over in front molding. the Smaller frame is in good/very good shape.Please look at all pictures. These frames date to the late 1940s. You coudl add small mirrors to these or use them on a antique frame display wall.Perfect for Victorian,French,Dutch,Romantic,Shabby decors.
