What a Great Deal!Vintage GEORG JENSEN Denmark Sterling Silver 925 Open Tulip Pin Brooch #305!Markings: Hallmarks and Maker\'s marks on reverse:DENMARK STERLING [GEORGE JENSEN INSIDE A DOTTED CIRCLE] 305 (see picture above)Size: This George Jensen item measures 45 mm (1 7/8\") wide by 32 mm ( 1 1/4\") high. Weighs 7 g. All measurements are approximate.Condition: Like all vintage items, this item is not new. However, it has worn the passage of time well and has minimal wear and tear. When I acquired this piece, it was missing the pin (safety catch and hinge were there) so I had the pin replaced. The replacement of the pin was done by a very talented master jeweler (52 years in the business) who also antiqued the pin to give it the same satin finish as the back of the pin. The quality of the replacement work is so good that I believe it would fool even a person knowledgeable in GJ! However, the fact that the pin is a replacement has been factored into the price.Note--any white spots and the discoloration on the back is camera reflection only.This item is from a smoke free home.
