You are viewing a stunning Brooch designed by the Danish silversmith Georg Jensen. The brooch was made inCopenhagen, Denmark likely between 1927 - 1930 and is marked with the pattern 188.
The piece is made in the style of Danish Skonvirke (beautiful work), which while related and influenced byArt Nouveau, was actually aScandinavian aesthetic movement which had an emphasis on organic andabstract natural shapes. We believe the stone is prase, a variety of chalcedony.
The brooch is in very good vintage condition with some minor wear consistant with age - the pin and haspare in great working order.
The brooch is about 2\" in length.
