Model 4-Stroke Piston EngineHere is a cool old item you rarely see, a German teaching aid that was used in Europe for drivers training. This was back in the day when cars didn\'t drive themselves and you had to use both hands to manage the machine (ah, the good old days).Intended for display and sold as a collectible, not for professional use.These models were manufactured in very small numbers for specialty use and the quality and workmanship is very impressive. An important piece of automotive history.By turning the hand crank, you can watch what happens during all 4 strokes of the engine. Intake - Compression - Ignition - Exhaust. Whats really cool is that the \"spark\" plug lights up when the piston reaches TDC of the compression stroke. BOOMThis model has great details and good original paint. It\'s ready to display in its As Found condition. Requires a 6 volt battery in the wooden base. No battery included.Measurements: approx. 15\" tall. Base is 8\" wide x 10\" deep.
