Shown here from a Detroit estate is this darling, early Santa Claus figurine, we believe to be from \"Germany\". It is stamped on the bottom but tricky to read. It measures 5 3/4\" tall and approximately 5\" long. He has clay face and hands with a felt coat, hat and sack on his back. One ski pole is intact and the other pole does not stay in his hand. One of the skis is broken off in the back and other has a bend. An unusual St. Nick but makes for a great display. Thanks for looking.Insurance will be required on this item.
