The bottom part, however, was a petrol tank which, of course, held a lot more fuel. There was a wicking device that would let the liquid fuel gradually be absorbed into the wadding. This resulted in a significantly longer lasting fuel supply.c. 1935
about 7.6 cm tall, 8.3 cm long and 3.2 cm thick
In fair condition showing usage. The leather's surface has wear and age patina. The mechanism works but I have not filled or tested it so working condition is unknown and it is sold as not working. It will need a new flint and a refill of petrol for full operation. Besides requiring some TLC and a good cleaning/polishing, this lighter is ideal for any collector of vintage lighters.
I don't consider myself an expert on all my findings, but I do try my best to describe them the best I can. That's why I ask that you ask questions first before offerding if you aren't sure about this item! I will be happy to send any additional photo’s.
Do not let this KW lighter item slip through your fingers!A note to all buyers from Canada:
I have received some info that lately the Canadian Post is very slow. I don't know why the Canadian post are so slow in their delivery. There may be delays because of customs checks. Shipping time can be 5 to 7 weeks!
PayPal is the only method of payment accepted.
