Vintage German Stuttgart Beer Stein Mug by A. Wilhelm:

A large earthenware half liter beer mug/stein made in Germany during the 1970s and painted by A. Wilhelm with the coat-of-arms of the city of Stuttgart.
Heavily molded and glazed cream-colored earthenware with a gilt band along the bottom edge and rim, the front is decorated in black, yellow and brown with an illustration of a horse and shield below a castle turret along with the text Stuttgart. On the bottom is the text stamped in red: HANDPAINTED A. WILHELM Made in Germany.
In fine shape, no chips, no cracks, but primarily overall cracking in the glaze and some minimal gilt loss. Please see the last detail photo of that, as well as all others for a better idea ofcondition.
4 1/2 tall, 4\" diameter at the base, 5 1/4\" including the handle.
