Vintage Germany Porcelain DollHead Victorian Style Doll

EstateFind. Beautiful doll which I believe waslovingly handcrafted into this elegant Victorian lady. I’ve owned her forseveral years and it’s now time for someone else to enjoy her. The vintage dollhead (with neck & shoulder area) is porcelain.

Herhair is wavy in a blond color; her eyes are blue; her cheeks are a rosy/coralshade & match the color of her closed lips.

Theback lower shoulder area is inscribed Germany – it is hard to reach this areaas the doll’s clothing is tightly fitted and not designed to be removed. I donot see any other maker’s mark or numbers.

Thehands, lower arms, feet, & lower legs appear to be new in a ceramic orporcelain material; the rest of body appears to be a new in a cloth stuffedmaterial.

Sheis dressed in a brown shiny rayon type skirt with dark green decorative bandnear bottom and finished with wide velveteen ruffle; her long sleeve top isbrown velveteen with rayon covered buttons & sleeve endings; attached to hertop below the waistline is an ivory & brown color cloth floral decorativepiece. Around her neck is a fur collar with decorative clips on each end (niceuse of vintage clip-on earrings). She wears black laced shoes, white socks, andwhite bloomers/pantaloons. Most of herclothing is sewed, snapped, or pinned in place.

Dollmeasures approx. 17” tall x 4” wide (across shoulders).
