I\'m also a bit of a recycling freak and like to see things get a 2nd (sometimes 3rd+) home and re-used or re-purposed.This listing is for some:1x Vintage Gerstner Style* Wood Cabinet With 8 Drawers fitted for Small Items inserts - Like Jewelry (Jewellery) or Horology components. 13\" H x 12\" W x 8\" D approxSimilar versions of this TYPE of design are hard to find and often very expensive (£180+) and older examples like this one are highly sort after by hobbyists, Antique Retails, Jewellers and Horologists etc.As I know a lot of the history of this item, I am fairly confident in stating it\'s from the Edwardian Period, made in England to a Gerstner type design. It has eight small drawers which are fitted out with small component insert dividers. This is especially useful for someone looking for a work, or collection based storage or display cabinet for things like Jewellery or Horology repair, collection or display.This item belonged to an old friend, now passed away, who was an Electrical Engineer and used it for small electrical components he used in his designs etc. I was left the item a while back, and as I had a collection of Vintage and Antique Cuff-links, I used it to store them. I\'ve now mostly sold the bulk of my collection and hence the cabinet is going up on for sale to some real vintage hunter - QUALITY ITEM and VERY USEFUL.The item has a few minor age and wear related marks, but overall is in good condition and well built using a mixture of woods including marine ply. Although not a large cabinet, the solid construction and materials used does mean this item has some serious weight. Add to this the need to package the item properly and the postage charge reflects both these issues.
