Late 1930s Gibson EH-150 amplifier. This one was recently serviced by Matt Wells, NYC’s famed amp tech, and it sounds lovely.

A number of capacitors were replaced, the original speaker was reconed, and a three-prong safety cord was added. As well, a capacitor (which is easily removed) was added to the normal/bass switch, to attenuate the noise that is normally made when switching between these settings.

One of the four hinges on the back of the amp, which hold its back cover in place, is slightly bent and doesn’t close fully (see last photo).

The original power cord and some other replaced parts will be included.
