Up for sale, this vintage Gibson is incredibly comfortable and is in great shape for a late 40\'s (we think a 1948) archtop. The guitar has had a couple things switched out, which is why we list it as player grade, the tuners and the tail piece for sure are replacement parts. Most likely the pickguard too. Structurally the guitar looks really solid, no neck breaks, cracks or repairs, just so good dings, checking and character. The old wood sounds great, the action is very playable with the slightest rise towards the upper frets. It will come with the pictured chip board case, which looks period correct so we assume it is the original.The guitar and case both have plenty of scratches, scuffs and dings - some of which are hard to see in the photographs.
