Up for offer is a vintage 1960\'s men\'s Glashutte GUB Cal 69.1 with box and papers. This is a manual winding watch that is in running condition. The watch looks good overall with the following notes:Movement - The movement is a 17 jewel Glashutte/GUB caliber 69.1. The movement features manual wind, sweep second, and date that can be set by changing time from 20-24h (no quick set). The movement is clean with no visible signs of rust and all the functions I am aware of appear to work. The watch keeps time within about +/- 3 minutes per day. The watch should be easy to service given the current condition. The movement has serial #56762.Dial - The dial appears to be original with some marks and signs of aging. Although the dial paint is in tact, if you look closely the gloss coat has come off in a few spots on the outer edge between 11 and 3.Case - The case is in fair condition. The size is 33.5mm diameter, 35.5mm wide including the crown, and 40 mm high including the lugs. The gold plating is in good condition given the age of the watch. The watch looks great from the top/front. From the sides you notice the lugs have nicks, dings, and scratches. The lugs are not perfectly straight, but this is hard to see. The case back is signed and has serial #034094.Crystal - The crystal is in overall excellent condition with some light surface scratches.Band - The brown leather band is short size and 17mm wide. Although the band is still flexible, it is in poor condition and only included for the potential vintage value.Papers - The watch papers are for the matching 69.1 caliber movement dated from 1964, but shows a different serial #299921 indicating that goes with a different watch/box.Box - The box is in fair condition. The box hinge works. The outer top edge of the back of the box has some damage where the surface finish has come off. The box is signed \"Glashutte\" on the outside and \"Original Glashutte\" on the inside.Please see the pictures for a more accurate assessment of the physical condition of the watch. This watch would make a great collector\'s item.
