Here is an exceptional vintage 1957-1960 Goebel Hummel Friar Tuck or Monk Porcelain Jug, also known by some as a Toby Jug/Mug.
This piece has rich colors and lots of facial features that makes this little boy come to life.
Bottom of piece features the 1957-1960 Goebel Blue Mark/Backstamp and has S 141/1 incised on the bottom, along with Western Germany.
Item is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, etc. Item has been preserved well. Does have a small light discoloration/stain inside the mug on near the interior of the hat brim. This could be carefully soaked out, as this piece came from an old house that hadn\'t been lived in for awhile. As you can see, this does not detract from this piece.
Item measures 5 1/2\" tall.
