Vintage Gold/Brass Tone Rouge/Powder Compact w/ Multiple Compartments & Mirror:

This is a Gold or Brass toned Rouge and/or Powder Compact with Mirror. It is unmarked and very unusual. Half of the front is blue enamel with a raised sailboat. It is rounded on the top and the bottom. It measures 2\" x 1 5/8\" and is 1/2\" tall. The latch opens and shuts securely and the hinges are in excellent working condition. Inside it contains powdered rouge on one side and then on the other side of the movable mirror is a separate latched compartment presumably for a sponge or powder puff. The latch on this separate compartment closed securely as well. It is in very good shape for its age and is solidly made.
