ITEM DESCRIPTIONS: We are very discriminating regarding the quality of each piece we select for listing. We pledge to our buyers that we will try to give an accurate and fair representation, in pictures and descriptions, of each piece. While we are not experts in the field of jewelry, if you have questions, please ask and we will try to provide the answers or at least offer an opinion.
When we use terms like: Gold, Silver, Copper, Pewter, Brass etc. that should be understood to refer to the “appearance” or color/tone of the piece. Similarly, when we refer to pearls or gemstones etc, that should be understood to refer, again, to the \"appearance\" of the piece. Unless it is specifically stated that an item is “real” or “genuine” gold, silver, sterling, pearl etc., please do not make the assumption that it is. We will only state \"real\" or \"genuine\" if it is marked on the piece, or if we are personally certain by firsthand knowledge that the piece is genuine.
We do not test jewelry in any way. Some of our pieces “may” be genuine even though we do not identify them as such. There are times when pieces are made of precious metal or are adorned with real gems, even though they are not marked. If we suspect this is the case with a certain piece we will state just that...that \"we suspect\", or \"in our opinion\", or \"we believe it could be\"...DO NOT, however, take this as a guarantee of authenticity.
Most of the items we sell are used and many are vintage. In other words, we are selling a lot of OLD and USED jewelry. That means that unless we specifically say a piece is NEW or UNUSED, you can expect that it may show signs of age in some ways (crazing, tarnishing, discoloration, fading, dirt, scratches, bending, looseness, even some repair (soldering/gluing) etc.). We will not try to list all the characteristics that are common to vintage jewelry. Rather we will use the terms: \"Like New\", \"Excellent\", \"Very Good\", and \"Good\" indicate our personal assessment of the relative condition of a piece as it relates to the degree that each piece shows those signs of age.
As a rule we sell very few individual pieces of broken jewelry or pieces that are missing stones or parts. Occasionally, however, even pieces that may be broken or missing stones or parts are still attractive and wearable and we will list them. If a piece is broken, or missing stones or parts, we will try to be careful to note that in the listing.
Please look at the pictures and read the descriptions. If you have any specific questions that are not answered there, please ask BEFORE offerding.
NEGATIVE response: No one likes negative response but it\'s not just a matter of response for us. We enjoy the opportunity to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and that, of course, translates to positive response. If you find yourself dis-satisfied in your experience with us, we hope that you will talk to us about it before leaving negative response. We\'d like the opportunity to make you a satisfied customer, if at all possible. Positive response ratings in every area help us to continue to provide these items to you at reasonable costs.

Unless other arrangements have been made directly with us, please make payment promptly after receiving your invoice. We accept payment only through PayPal and you do not need to have a PayPal account in order to make payment through them with a regular credit card.
We ship as quickly as possible; usually the same day, or the next postal business day after, we receive payment unless otherwise prevented by business travel. (IFthere will be delays in excess of a day or two because of travel we will let you know). Unless otherwise requested to do so, we will ship by the most economical means available with due consideration given also to the protection of the item(s) being shipped.
In addition to fast shipping We pride ourselves on careful packaging. We take the time and materials and go to great lengths to be sure your treasures arrive at your house in the same condition that they left ours in. In most cases, your items will arrive in small cotton filled boxes placed in bubble cushioned envelopes. Or they will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in bubble cushioned envelopes or boxes.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING: USA Domestic Shipping is priced below the actual cost of first-class USpostage. If the buyer requests an upgrade on shipping method we will comply as long as the buyer paysthe difference in cost. Please request such shipping upgrades before paying for your item(s).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: INTERNATIONAL Shipping includes ACTUAL POSTAGE. We are happy to combine multiple items into one shipment to save you money. Let us know if you intend to purchase several items (LIMIT TO WITHIN A 5 DAY PERIOD) and want them combined into one shipment.
Please do not ask us to falsify customs forms by putting lower value on your items. That violates policy and it also violates the law. We will not do that.
The following details apply to all returns EXCEPT in cases where item does not match listing description.
- Buyer MUST contact The Jeweled Page within 14days after receipt of item to indicate intent to return (this requirement is firm and no exceptions will be made).
In cases where item does NOT match description the following details apply to all returns:
- Buyer MUST contact The Jeweled Page UPON RECEIPT of the item to indicate intent to return
- Item(s) must be received by the Jeweled Page, in original condition, prior to refund.
- Seller will refund original purchase price AND return postage (equivalent to original postage paid by seller).
