Vintage Gold Plated Brooch by Grosse 1958

In 1955 Henkel & Grosse started its cooperation with Christian Dior (1905-57) in Paris and were licensed as the sole producers and distributors of Dior jewellery.This gold plated brooch was made by Grosse shortly afterwards in 1958. The brooch is 37 mm diameter. The reverse fitted with a safety pin fastener. The brooch is in the form of a flower head with crescent shaped petals. The petals each with fine lined decoration.Grosse lozenge manufacturers mark dated 1958.
