Googly Eyed Crown Top Perfume BottleA cute googly eyed crown top perfume bottle. The item is missing its crown top which is not uncommon. However, these can be purchased as reproductions.
The baby is so sweet. Legs are stretched out in front as baby sits on the floor. Arms are folded. Face is well moulded with big eyes which are painted white with brown and baby is looking to the right hand side. Baby has brown hair with a curl on the forehead. Baby has flushed chubby cheeks and red lips.
The item is approx. 2 3/4 inches tall by about 1 1/4 inches across the face. Viewed sideways on it is about 1 1/4 inches from the feet to the bottom.
Baby is listening to the wireless with a headset on the head. Wireless is at the side.
There are marks impressed into the underside of the base but I cannot read these. You can find this baby in The Crown Top Book, 1920-1939 by Pauline E Turco. You can also buy the crown top stoppers from her.
Needs a clean as this has been stored away. Might be some cotton wool on baby too as stored in this material.
