A BEAUTIFUL, large, heavy GORHAM (EPNS) serving tray in the classic "Chippendale" pattern with applied handles in Very Good Used Condition!

Discontinued Circa: 1964

Description: This large beautifully crafted silver-plate serving tray by the Gorham Silver Co. is perfect for presenting tea, sterling flatware, and desserts, whatever!

The tray has an intricately detailed pattern of leaves, flowers and scrolls and is in the rich, classic, timeless Chippendale pattern that compliments many china patterns.

It is also, in the more desirable very large rectangular shape with wide, ornate, applied handles and is footed!

These heavy, sturdy high quality silver-plates trays are much more functional for serving tea than sterling and they are getting more difficult to find.

Condition: There are no dings, dents, damage or repair to this item. It is in very good used condition (see photos).

There are some surface scratches and the usual fine scratches and patina from age and use. A professional silversmith could polish out the surface scratches if desired.

There is also a monogram MFL (see photo). Overall this is a gorgeous, hard to find, tray for display or use.

This is a Beautiful monogramed coffee/tea service from GORHAM SILVERSMITHS. A complete set which includes a coffee carafe, a tea pot, a covered sugar bowl & a creamer.

Each piece is hallmarked GORHAM. Bases are marked Gorham-(Anchor) - EP – Y with number - Date Symbols for 1932/33.

Amazing Condition!! No dents, dings, stains or surface damage. The Coffee carafe and Tea pot have minor interior stains. But no more than expected from a vintage piece.

All pieces are in fine condition for serving beverages.

This is an exquisite set. For those who cannot afford a pure sterling silver service, this is an amazing compromise. It shines up beautifully and makes for a gorgeous display on your table.
