Beautiful old Griswold skillet. It has no visible pitting, no cracks, and sits flat. The seasoning on the cooking surface is smooth and took generations to produce. For that reason this skillet has NOT been stripped. However, if you want to strip it and start all over with seasoning, you certainly could. There are variations in the color both on the cooking surface and the outside of the skillet, with a few areas of light buildup.I keep all my skillets oiled, so expect it to arrive with some residual oil on the surface.
