Very nice skillet with matching high dome skillet lid. This is really the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Along with the high dome skillet lid, there is plenty of space to working in. The factory polished interior cooking surface is flat and nearly glass smooth to the touch. Also, there is very light utensil scoring with no pitting or etching from corrosion. Five sheets of printer paper stops movement on a glass stove top. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and does not spin.
This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. One round of seasoning at 450 degrees with Crisco for several hours. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
