item# 201404659-EPLI- 562033/6523This beautiful vintage Gruen pocket watch is in great working condition. It is just back from Pav & Broome Jewelers here in Gulfport where We took it to have it cleaned and serviced, it was running a bit fast. It has been keeping good time since. We are including paperwork that came with it to Us from appraisers Louisiana Diamond and Jewelry Wholesalers Inc. They places an estimated Retail Value of $ 9,500.00 on it. We do not know about that, can\'t find any comps. but the information all appears correct as to serial & case numbers & diamond count. They did make reference to a web site dealing with the history of these early Gruens, it can be seen in their paperwork. The diameter of this watch is 1-5/8\" approx. & a little over a quarter of an inch thick. The chain is not hallmarked that I can find but bears the name SIMMONS on it. The weight of this piece in its entirety ( chain included ) is 55.5 grams. Serial number on movement is 562033 & 6523 on inside of case back. There are 60 round diamonds surrounding the platinum case. This watch is coming as seen in the pictures, there are a few minor marks to it, use the zoom feature !We package our items well and ship Priority Mail Express with insurance & delivery confirmation.
