TheHouse of Gucci

Foundedby Guccio Gucci in 1921. Gucci isone of the

worldsmost successful manufacturers of high-end leather

goods,clothing and fashion accessories.

Inthe early 1960’s they started creating silk scarves in

luxuriantfloral patterns. VittorioAccornero designed the

firstscarf for Princess Grace Kelly of Monoco.

His beautiful designs were also worn by such icons as Jackie

KennedyOnassis and Sofia Loren and are very sought after

bycollectors today

This amazing colorful scarf features

Asian landscapes and buildings in bright

colors of red, greens blues and more. There are pagodas, boats water lilies

mountains, trees and flowers all surrounding a sailing

ship in the center on a beautiful pink ground. Fabulous

details and a truly gorgeous scarf.

This scarf is extremely rare, I have not

been able to find any information about it.

If anyone knows the name or exact year I would

love to hear from them.
