Late 40\'s-1950\'s
Hibiscus signed Hale Pua Hawaii.
Hale Pua was also known as Frank Y Oda-
But I am sure you already know that if you are shopping his paintings.

floral black velvets. Owner of Arts Hawaii.\" ---copied from gold label back of a
different painting I have listed.Frame 13 1/2\" x 11 1/2\"
Painting 11 1/2\" x 9 1/2\"
Original paper backing (quite torn).
Original frame but not wood color-painted a pale gold.
Paint has deteriorated, very very faded, with dark streaks in the flower (from velvet backing assumed)
Please see pictures--assume there is less color dimension on the flower than the way it photographs--
Some light rubs on the black velvet and is warped a bit due to lack of firm backing.
Frame is not warped, notable ding on the top edge(see photo).
