Vintage HORIKAWA GEAR ROBOT in BOX Battery Operated Japan Tin Toys 1960\'s We sell a vintage S.H. HORIKAWA GEAR ROBOT battery operated in its original BOX produced in Japan in the 60\'s.As you can see in the photos the gear robot is in good-used condition with minor wear around tin tin and plastic parts. The battery case is very clean with slight rust on the upper part inside the lid (all pictured). Please notice that the head switch is missing. Other than that, I would say that this very fine old robot -reminiscent of the past- comes in quite good condition with no particular damage. The antennas, his eyes, arms -all are in place and his feet very stable. I have tried the batteries but the toy doesn\'t seem to work. As you can see, its original box bears some obvious wear such as tears or rips especially around the sides (please see pictures).This vintage tin robot comes from a personal collection of old tin toys. I think that someone could obtain it for his collection or an expert could possibly fix it. Please see all photos carefully as they are part of the items\' description.
