Vintage HUNTER & GEORGE LAWRENCE Co SADDLE Rifle HOLSTER SCABBARD and AMMO BAGS:

Offered today is a nice vintage Hunter rifle scabbard and George Lawrence Co. set of ammo/accessory bags. The scabbard is in really nice condition overall. It does have one spot where the leather has split and is in need of repair. But when the ammo/accessory bags are in place that hole cannot be seen. The entire set is made of very heavy leather and seems very durable. The scabbard itself is marked \"HUNTER\" and shows a model(?) number of 412 26. The snap shows a name of The Lift Dot and a makers mark of United Carr of Boston, Mass. The accessory/ammo bags are in excellent condition and show very little wear. The leather straps seem to be in great shape and show little to no cracking or weathering. The straps on the scabbard look to have had a bit more use and do show some cracking, but still look to be in pretty good shape. It\'s hard to tell how old these pieces are. The scabbard seems to be a bit older than the bags. The buckles on both the bags and the holster look to be silver plated. The buckles on the scabbard look to have some sort of hall mark, but it\'s very hard to make out. I tried to get a close up in picture number 10. I HAD listed a picture number 11 and 12 showing the scabbard with a Winchester Model \'94 inside to give an idea of it\'s size, BUT feels that you might be able to hurt yourself with a partial photo of a gun stock on your computer screen so I had to remove them or my listing would be ended. The rifle seems to have fit pretty well. If you would like to see the pics with the Winchester in it just send me a message and I\'ll send them to you. (As long as you promise not to do anything dangerous with them) The scabbard measures 39 3/4\" X 9\" and the bags measure 9\" wide by 10 1/2\" tall.
