Vintage Half Hull Boat Nautical Maritime Wood Carving Plaque Defender 1824 :

This is far from my field of expertise. However, it is obviously a Carved Wood Half Hull Model, mounted on a wooden plaque. It has the name \"Defender\" and the date 1824. See picture 4. Looks like a racing Hull. Very sleek shape. The plaque has a small white mark on it and also shows some slight wear. I am sure this could probably be touched up or refinished. Hull is in very good condition. Just the slightest scuffing, but it is small and very slight. Outer black frame also shows some slight wear. Hanging hooks are in place on the back. Size is approximately 16 1/2 inches wide X 5 inches tall.
