Vintage Hand Carved Olive Wood Nativity Set - Made in Bethlehem - Large:

This is a hand carved nativity set made in Bethlehem from olive wood. It\'s a large set both in size and in pieces and carved with substantial detail. The set included the manger with two trees and a star. the top tip of the star seems to have been broken off but it is worn down smooth. The tree on the right when facing the manger has also come unglued from the building. You can glue it back on if you want or just rest it up against the manger. The set comes with the following figures: Joseph, Mary, Jesus (removable from crib), shepherd, 2 sheep, 3 kings, camel with chain, donkey, cow, 2 shepherd/soldiers (not sure of character) one of which is missing it\'s tool because his hands look as if they should be holding something.The sticker on the front of the characters state they are made in Bethlehem. The manger is 13\" tall and 18\" across. The tallest figure is 8\"This is a used item that came from an estate sale.
