You are looking at a Antique hand carved wood whale, mammal, fish, shark, cat fish or other. Not sure. It is carved on a nice base. I could not find anything like it. I will let you decide. Don\'t know age, artist, region or any other pacifics. I go believe it is pretty old by the ware. The tail part is big. Makes me think it was used for holding something. You may never get another chance at being able to buy one again or even see one. It weighs over a pound before being packed to ship safely. I am sorry for that.
