This is a wood carving that looks very old, is not signed, there is no indication of from which country is was made, however it reminds me of a German/Bavarian dressed man who has a beard and a hat and wearing what look like Dutch wooden shoes, carrying a big saw and ropes assuming to cut down a tree. Do not know what type of wood it is. This might be valuable, no idea, but it looks cool. Primitive Art.Dimensions: 8 inches tall and the base is about 3 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches.It stands very well on a desk or shelf.
