Today, Lily ~ a 13 inch tall Little Darling studio doll by Dianna Effner ~ models a darling five piece ensemble that celebrates the beauty of vingage things and the sweetness of little girls. To create this One Of A Kind outfit, I have used a classic woven cotton gingham in lavender and white; I have added a vintage hanky made of soft cottonfeaturing hand embroidered violets. So pretty. The ensemble consists of dress, pinafore, panties, socks, andhair bow. While this outfit was created for the Effner Little Darling dolls, it will also fit other dolls of similar size, such as Avery by My Meadow and the 14\" Chrysalis dolls by Helen Kish.I hope you will enjoy the many pictures included after my description!Please note ~ Neither my doll nor her shoes are part of this sale! You are offerding on the five piece outfit only.The Dress ~ Certainly pretty enough to be worn alone! The bodice is lined with batiste. The puffed sleeves have encased elastic at the hems, trimmed with cotton lace. The full skirt, which has a deep hem, is not quite as long as it looks in the pictures. Open all the way down the back, closing with little buttons and buttonholes.ThePinafore ~ My love for vintage hankies blossomed early in my life, when I wasallowed to gothrough my grandmother\'s \"hanky drawer\" as a special treat. She had a hanky for every occasion, whether it was Sunday Church or working in the garden. To this day, when I hold a vintage hanky, I am filled with delight. So it brings me joy to keep these vintage things alive and share them with you! While very vintage, this piece is in excellent condition. The waistband and shoulder straps are made ofwhite batiste. The waistband has been topped with the same lace used on the dress. I have also added this lace to the edges of the hanky. I have inserted purple grosgrain ribbon under the lace of the waistband; itties into a pretty bow in back.The Panties and Socks ~ Made of a soft cotton knit in white. The panties have encased elastic at the waist fora good fit. For a pretty finishing touch, I have added ahair bow made of the dress fabric. Held in place with a small metal clip.All seams are either enclosed or neatly finished. My personal label has been sewn into all garments.

My own hand-drafted patterns were used in the creation of this ensemble. I use only quality fabrics, trims, and notions, paying special attention to detail and workmanship, as well as design and fit. I love to use vintage fabrics and trims in my designs. Unless otherwise stated, they are always in perfect condition.
