Vintage Heavy Gage Deeply Incised Sterling Silver Cuff by Thomas Curtis With Gorgeous Turquoise Stone. This cuff is a small size. My wrist is 6 inches and it fits me perfect. The cuff weighs 88.5 grams and is 2 3/8\" X 1 3/8\". The opening is 7/8\" wide. This is a very heavy gauge so adjustment would be very difficult. The Turquoise stone, which I wish I knew where it came from (anyone know?) measures 1 5/16\" x 7/8\". I purchased this gorgeous cuff at Indian Market in Santa Fe many many years ago and it has been carefully stored away. Please note that if this cuff is returned to me because it doesn\'t fit, I will only accept the return if the cuff has not been altered in any way. If a person with a larger wrist tries to make it bigger and there is any damage to the stone or integrity of this piece I will not refund. Insurance must be purchased for return and the buyer will be responsible for the piece until it is safely in my hands and determined to be undamaged. The piece is in pristine condition with no damage whats so ever.

Thomas Curtis, an award winning Navajo Silversmith, passed away on July 10, 2013. Thomas was considered among the top Navajo silversmiths who professionally pursued his art for over 50 years. Thomas received many accolades, among them Best in Class at the 1987 Santa Fe Indian Market and he was featured in the May 2003 issue of Arizona Highways. Thomas Curtis was the bench silversmith for Rocking Horse Ranch in Flagstaff in 1985. Thomas made everything by hand including his die sets. The hardened steel Die Sets are used to stamp the silver jewelry. Thomas also used chisels to flawlessly carve silver. Thomas Curtis\'s professional career began in the early 1950\'s. He fondly remembered as a child helping his grandfather make silver jewelry. Thomas Curtis\' silver designs span the vintage years of the 1890\'s through the contemporary era that started in the 1940\'s with Kenneth Begay (who Thomas knew).
