This beautiful vintage barkcloth dress is made by Pomare-Tahiti which is the company that became Hilo Hattie! This dress has no size and is made for a petite person or a young lady. It measures 42\" from shoulder to hem, 15\" from armpit to armpit, 19\" waist and the bottom is 28.5 inches along the hem all are lying flat dimensions. The material is a vibrant tapa design of blues, greens, white, tans and browns. There is a small ruffle along the neck about an inch in height and it zips up the back. There is some color bleeding into the white flowers that is present on every piece of white. It is difficult to tell if this was supposed to be that way or not because it is splotchy like a batik. The dress is in excellent condition and is a beautiful piece.
