Fantastic heavy solid steel curule stool/chair. Neoclassical/Regency style with studio quality design, construction, and materials. Likely 1960s/1970s vintage, likely of Italian origin. Weighs approximately 50 lbs.

Originally with a brass wash type finish over the steel, areas of this finish remain. Piece is largely worn to steel now, with mild surface patina/oxidation. No real rust or pitting. Please see photos for representation of surface patina. A few surface swirls to one arm as if sander were applied briefly. A spot of purple paint on one lower stretcher. Surface variations.

I have done zero cleaning or sprucing to this piece. A nice rubdown in oil or wax would bring surface to life, or it is a super easy paint job if desired.
