A crazy rare set. Beyond cool! These just don\'t come along and from i am told by the owner the \"set 3\" is ESPECIALLY RARE! All cars are original to this set! Lots of little stuff going on with this so PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! You get six cars along with original buttons a baggies. This set was a display in a window once upon a time and the box is faded. The box also has light to moderate wear, creasing throughout. There are two small paper clips on the end that opens that i imagine where put there as part of the display to keep it closed. i don\'t want to mess with them but i imagine there is some sort of small impression left over. The tabs seem to be intact underneath there. The back is ESPECIALLY bright and nice. The cars are unplayed with. The chaparral wing has a broken post. The vw bug paint is coming off and sticking to the plastic inside the baggie. There is a piece of white paper on the back of the lola back that i imagine was but there in an effort to keep the baggie together...that aside from the paper clips is the only unoriginal part of the set. That paper is now attached to the sticky part of the wax paper baggie.... again i am not messing with it. Now sadly in shipment to me there was a mishap and 5 of the 6 baggies were ripped open by the cars -- those who are familiar with these know how fragile these baggies are. Upon leaving the owner\'s home the baggies were totally sealed...unfortunately that is no longer the case as only the VW baggie survived. But i have not taken the cars out and by all accounts the cars have still not been touched by human hands :) This was a truly painful turn of events for both the owner and myself simply because of the blow to the history of such a rare piece. However to slightly make up for it --- if the new owner is interested upon request -- i will put together a COA of sorts from TEENYCARZ signed by the previous owner (who is well-respected in redline community) confirming that these 6 cars/baggies are and always were part of the original set. While having the baggies open certainly stunk...we both agree its still a valuable fact that these cars are totally true to this special set...and have not been substituted in anyway...and we are both happy to vouch for that fact.
