Iconic Hattie Carnegie figural of \'Boy Riding a Dolphin\' brooch designed in gold plated metal. The dolphin is made of faux jade lucite with crystal clear rhinestone accents and red rhinestone eyes. The boy\'s body and hair is made of faux coral molded inserts. He wears a rhinestone necklace. This unique brooch is a book piece in Jacqueline Rehmann\'s book Classic American Costume Jewelry, p. 119 (a portion is in a photo). The brooch measures 3\" high, 2\" wide, and has a depth of 5/8\". Although unsigned as many of her pieces were, this is an iconic design well known to collectors.

This unique brooch is in excellent condition with no flaws. A delightful brooch for wear! A very unique brooch to add to your vintage figural collection. Enjoy!
