Here is a lovely Harriet Hubbard Ayer beauty doll made starting in 1953 by the Ideal Toy Company with the purpose of teaching girls to apply makeup and style hair. She uses the 14 inch P90 Toni body with a vinyl face and arms. To find out more about this restoration please visit my blog: has been fully restored. I cleaned her thoroughly, strung her with durable elastic cord, washed and set her hair, and refreshed her lip, eye, fingernail, and cheek paint. Her golden hair is thick and beautiful. I gave her a leave in conditioner treatment and new set. Her joints have typical paint scraping, covered by her clothes, and her body has slight play wear to the paint throughout, though her knee blush is still bright. Her blue green eyes work well, and I\'ve given her lash replacements. One arm has faint pink dye transfer fromher dress.Please see the photos.Harriet came wearing her untagged but, I believe, original clothes. Her shoes are marked Ideal on the soles. Harriet will come with everything you see in the photos as well as a new hair net and tagged with my own signed tag.
