I think this cap came off a 1970\'s vintage large truck. I remember caps like these during that time. It has the metal middle with the International Harvester logo and the darker outside part is a synthetic material like you find in brake pads. There is a small chip along the edge that you can see in the pictures. It has a couple small cracks also but they are small and hardly noticeable.
