Vintage Inuit / Eskimo Art black stone carving of a sea Lion signed by Canadian artist.

The carving is in nice vintage condition given its age. There are some minor chips in the stone but no cracks. *See Photos.

The exact age of this piece is not known, but we might guess around 1950-1973. On the base there is an Eskimo Art sticker, 1609 and some signs that are under the sticker

The figurine is 2 1/2 inches in height, 4 1/2 inches by x 2 inches at the base.

This carving / sculpture would make a wonderful addition to any indigenous art collection.
